Another day, another drawing!

Not my best of the month, that’s for sure. I’m finding shading challenging, and thought this drawing might get me some practice.

I couldn’t come up with anything super interesting for sugar, so I broadened the prompt to sugar skull, and tried my hand at that. Getting the balance right on this was tricky. Fun drawing to try though.

I wanted to try shading with the pen on this one. A couple sections I like, but I don’t think it worked with with the crevices on the pumpkin. Definitely a work in progress for me.
